1. Research Use Only Acknowledgment
By purchasing any peptide, amino product, compound, or related material from Glacier Peak Biosciences, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1.1 The products sold by Glacier Peak Biosciences are offered solely for lawful laboratory, analytical, and research purposes.
1.2 The products are not offered or intended for human consumption, animal use, clinical use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or any use involving the treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease.
1.3 Unless expressly stated otherwise by Glacier Peak Biosciences in writing, the products have not been reviewed or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for human or veterinary use.
1.4 I am responsible for the safe receipt, storage, handling, testing, documentation, transfer, and use of any product purchased from Glacier Peak Biosciences, and I agree to act in accordance with applicable law, accepted laboratory standards, and appropriate safety procedures.
1.5 I understand that misuse, improper storage, unauthorized transfer, or use outside the permitted scope described in this agreement is solely my responsibility.
2. Buyer Eligibility and Legal Authority
2.1 I represent that I am at least twenty-one years (21) of age, or any higher minimum age required under applicable law, and that I am legally permitted to purchase these products in my jurisdiction.
2.2 I understand that Glacier Peak Biosciences may request age or identity verification before accepting or fulfilling an order.
2.3 I am responsible for determining whether the purchase, possession, importation, receipt, storage, and use of these products is lawful where I am located.
3. No Medical Representations and Limited Product Representations
3.1 Glacier Peak Biosciences does not make medical, clinical, or treatment related representations regarding its products.
3.2 Any product descriptions, specifications, purity statements, batch information, or certificates of analysis are provided for product identification and research reference purposes only.
3.3 Except as expressly stated in Glacier Peak Biosciences’ posted Terms and Conditions or refund policy, products are provided without additional warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
3.4 No statement by Glacier Peak Biosciences, whether on the website, in marketing materials, by email, or in customer service communications, shall be interpreted as medical advice, a treatment claim, or a promise of research results.
4. Assumption of Risk
4.1 I understand that research materials may involve inherent risks.
4.2 I knowingly and voluntarily assume any risks associated with ordering, receiving, storing, handling, testing, transporting, disposing of, and otherwise using the products purchased from Glacier Peak Biosciences.
4.3 I accept full responsibility for maintaining proper controls, supervision, recordkeeping, and laboratory procedures relating to any product purchased from Glacier Peak Biosciences.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Glacier Peak Biosciences, together with its owners, managers, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents, shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the purchase, possession, storage, handling, transfer, use, misuse, or disposal of any product.
5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Glacier Peak Biosciences’ aggregate liability arising from any order or product shall not exceed the amount paid by me for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
5.3 Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive any rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be waived or limited under applicable law.
6. Indemnification
6.1 I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Glacier Peak Biosciences, together with its owners, managers, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents, from and against any claim, demand, action, damage, loss, liability, penalty, fine, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:
(a) my purchase, possession, storage, transfer, handling, testing, use, misuse, or disposal of any product;
(b) my breach of this agreement, the website Terms and Conditions, or any posted policy of Glacier Peak Biosciences;
(c) my violation of applicable law or the rights of any third party; or
(d) injury, property damage, contamination, regulatory inquiry, or third party claim arising from my acts or omissions involving the products.
7. Restricted Access and Verification
7.1 I understand that Glacier Peak Biosciences may restrict access to product pages, checkout, or account features through age screening, account review, or other verification measures.
7.2 I acknowledge that Glacier Peak Biosciences may collect information reasonably necessary to process orders, verify eligibility, prevent misuse, protect the business, and maintain transaction records, subject to the Privacy Policy.
7.3 If Glacier Peak Biosciences determines, in its sole discretion, that false information was submitted, that an order presents unusual risk, or that an account is being used in a manner inconsistent with these terms, Glacier Peak Biosciences may decline, cancel, hold, or restrict the order or account.
8. General Terms
8.1 This agreement is binding on me and on my heirs, representatives, successors, and permitted assigns.
8.2 If any portion of this agreement is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8.3 This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Snohomish County, Washington, or, if federal jurisdiction exists, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
8.4 By checking the acceptance box, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise completing a purchase, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this agreement and that I agree to be bound by it. I further agree that my electronic acceptance may be used as evidence of my assent to this agreement.
